About Susan von Posern
Legal Counsel, practice devoted exclusively to immigration law since 2002.
Susan von Posern chose immigration law because it is among the most personal areas of the law. Her clients come to her at pivotal moments in their lives and in the lives of their families, and she finds deep fulfillment in guiding them through those moments with skill, care, and clear communication.
Susan has practiced law in California since passing the bar in 1993 and has focused exclusively on immigration law since 2002. Her practice includes permanent residency, consular processing, U.S. citizenship, DACA and deferred action, deportation defense, military parole in place, and O-1 and E-1/E-2 business and talent visas.
As a boutique practice, the firm gives every client one-on-one attention. Susan personally manages all aspects of each case, from the first consultation until the matter is resolved, and develops a legal strategy suited to the individual circumstances of each client and family. Clients are never passed off to staff members. They have direct access to their attorney, who handles their case from beginning to end.
Susan is fluent in Spanish and works directly with Spanish-speaking clients and their families.
